Hi All,
I'm looking into joining the Range 14 Fort Dix rod and Gun club .
Seems like a pretty good deal if your within a reasonable driving distance.
Has anyone on this site currently a member, or have any opinion on the Club?
Thanks,
Tony

Ive been shooting there for years. Great Skeet ranges and they now have modern skeet (wabble). You really cant beat it for $60 general public. You will see some a$$holes handling weapons improperly and messing with them when the range is soft.

No I think a few guys here have I remember someone shot a nice buck with a muzzy. The only part that sucks about ft dix is it gets crowded on weekends sundays especially, sometimes the rifle range will be full and just when everyone has there targets out someone starts running out to the 200 meter line to put out a target lol

There's always one person in every group that makes you want to scream.
The range is open today, i may go over and take a look around.
Thanks for you input.

$60 for general public military and police are discounted. You pay $3/hr for rifle/pistol range and I beleive its $3 a round (25 clays) for skeet

I used to belong there about 12 years ago and the rifle range was a free for all, guys shooting water jugs and bowling pins.Lots of AR's,SKS's,and Mini 14's.The place was like World War 3 and was always super crowded.
It was hard to sight in a rifle or shoot with all the gun fire all around.Wasn't my idea of recreational shooting so I joined a different club.
Not sure if it's gotten better or not but I don't miss that club at all.

it's definitely better, but when it gets close to shotgun season in not uncommon to have a 2 hour wait for a table.

personally i like the place for the ranges but the short red haired guy with the southern accent that runs the place is a real a$$hole.  I have been a member at fort dix rod and gun club since i was 11 years old and recently the hunting success has deeply gone downhill and they make it almost impossible to hunt there with all the crap rules they make and they make more every year....they lost a member this year!!!!!...jerks

p.s. They have a contest for biggest deer that i participate in and there is a lot of cheaters involved...
