A 6pt. deer gets hit by a car and is lying on a home owners ft. lawn. Surprisingly, the deer is still alive.
What's to do but have the police put it down. None of us could see ourselves field dressing a deer with a mother and her 7 year old daughter watching. BC __________________ UBNJ

Nice! We have seen similar in our neck of Bergen County. My brother watched an Alpine, NY cop shoot and MISS at a wounded buck last fall off Rt 9W. My brother asked if he needed assistance and the guy went ballistic. __________________ NRA Life Member

I put one out of it's misery with my knife 30' off 206 in Andover a few weeks ago. A lady pulled over, rolled down her window and asked me if I was o.k.! A few weeks ago my son and I was driving on a road by my house. And we see flashing lights from cop car parked on the side of the road. I slow down and look as I drive by, here is big fat doe sitting on the side. It was hit by a car and still alive, so I stop. here is this deer with 3 broken legs.
The Cops are scratching there heads, they dont know what to do, who do we call. So after a half hour bull shitting and telling them all about hunting. They ask do you want the deer? I thought they never ask. So my son goes to the truck gets a knife and cuts her throat. We field dressed her and home she went. |

The eatontown female officer took out her 12 gauge and put the deer down............just as the school bus stopped to let elementary school kids off. __________________ Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of hardware.

| I had 5 of them run in front of me in Totowa the other day by midgetville. Last year there were 2 big six pointers in that area. I haven't seen them this fall. | ||
