the pines have a few nice bucks left because they know how to hide and fend a little better but the doe-s are shot out or killed off by coyotes in my opinion. head north!

i was a few weeks ago and saw 1 squirrel lots of deer tracks small and large.  last time i hunted 23 for deer was black powder rifle season in 2005.  i killed my first deer in 23, a doe in 2002 during permit shotgun day back there.
