Yes a lot of scouting. Saw a few good bucks in Lafayette and a few in Vernon. Lot of doe's and fawns. Saw more small bucks last year then ever before but I don't know where they all went this year?? Things alwasy seem to change when the season is in swing. I think the unlimited doe's has taken a toll. __________________ Economic disaster begins with a philosophy of doing less and wanting more. You got lots of deer!! I work at the high school, have you had any kids go through there? We have an average sized herd (unless the deer start going into my bow case and imapailing themselves on my arrows they are quite safe but i keep feeding them anyway) My kids are too young for high school |

| I had a women from west mountain road call me about setting up a hunt in her area. She said she had 16 deer sleeping in their nest in her back yard as we were speaking. I started laughing, but sure enough it looked like a giant deer nest. The landscapers had dumped a ton of leaves in the woods between the homes and the deer were bedding in the deep leaves. | ||
