Out of velvet? No he's still in velvet, when he turned to run he was actually a nice sized deer for a spiker. I couldn't get my camera focused because of the weeds when he took off,one downfall of digitals. |

cool pic.
better shoot him, or else he'll breed and turn every deer onto your property into a spike. you'll have 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 year old spikes running all over. (sarcasm)__________________ |

Many a big buck has duped a hunter by doing nothing more than just remaining still. __________________ EAT SLEEP HUNT Make your dreams a reality. Take a kid hunting. Film your next hunt. www.nloutdoors.com

Cool pic Tim. That digital delay can be solved by getting a digital camera with a mechanical shutter instead of electronic trigger .... sometimes you hear a little flutter but usually not enough to spook the animal like the old 35mm.
Was that dear on club land? I notice a lot of the fields are getting cut now but I have not been out. Maybe this weekend. I'll put those items in the mail this week. Take care. |

I'll talk to you about it at the meeting on Tuesday. It's not the shutter speed it's getting it focused on the object,it picks things up that are closer and you have to get it just right. Quote:
