The geese have been flying over my house a lot the past week, big and loud flocks. Has anyone else noticed them? I need to find a spot for the early goose season.

Do you guys find farmers geenrally receptive to requests to goose hunt their ground?  Most are fairly tight or already tied up with someone with their ground for deer, but I wonder about the geese?

There is a big farm just up the road from my house that i want to ask if i can just goose hunt it, but i never see anyone there to ask.

Alot of farmers also have geese hutners. You are correct, though- not as many geese hutners as deer hunters, so it seems.

Geese destroy our beans. When the beans germinate and begin to sprout- thats when the geese do the most damage. I get to blast my shotgun alot during that time of year.

I'd like to start geese hunting this season, just not during the RUT !!
