| The geese have been flying over my house a lot the past week, big and loud flocks. Has anyone else noticed them? I need to find a spot for the early goose season. | ||

| Do you guys find farmers geenrally receptive to requests to goose hunt their ground? Most are fairly tight or already tied up with someone with their ground for deer, but I wonder about the geese? | ||

I actually noticed this, too. I'm not hearing them everynight, but I have been hearing them....

Alot of farmers also have geese hutners. You are correct, though- not as many geese hutners as deer hunters, so it seems. Geese destroy our beans. When the beans germinate and begin to sprout- thats when the geese do the most damage. I get to blast my shotgun alot during that time of year. I'd like to start geese hunting this season, just not during the RUT !! __________________ When a gun-hunter sees the animal he wants- the hunts over. When a bow-hunter sees the animal he wants, the hunt is just begining !

early season is tuff,alot of beans and corn are up,they usually wont hit those fields till there cut. __________________ If Guns kill people Then...
