been a long hard week and I needed a break so my buddy chrs and I decided to head out to the swamp for a couple hours of frog giggin. we got to our spot that I scouted out during the week only to find the frogs were not there ,I saw over 100 just days before in this area.We had to move around and locate them but when we did we were on them ,there were to many of them in the area we worked ,as we were going in for a gig 4-5 more would bust us and alarm the entire swamp . the snakes were out in good numbers ,we saw some garders and some water snakes but not one of them were harrased

there was a full moon so it also hurt us and lit the swamp up so we had a hard time seeing them and they were also harder to blind ,this was chris's first time out and I wanted to show him a good time ,with in the first 5 minutes I knew he was gonna have a blast .

there was a ton of bats out last night and they were feeding on the bugs that were swarminng our heads so it made for some great laughs ,they were buzzing our ears w/ there wing tips.We only stayed for three hours and ended the night w/ 20 bullfrogs and we passed over a couple hundred smaller ones

looks like it was fun.

we were out eeling last night and the bats were out in full force.  the eeling was slow.  we hit the musky down in penwell first.  i got a small trout and my bud got a little catfish.  no eels. we then went to the pequest in belvidere and got 2 eels.

we moved up river near hotdog johnnies and my one friend took a header into the river!  we called it quits after that.

Did it with my wifes cousin down in the everglades of Florida out of an airboat.  What a helluva time with his buddies. Did real well and the meal the next day was even better. Never thought of doing it up here
