I just started bow hunting last year so I haven't tried there with the bow yet. I know it's crazy there during shotgun, but is it crowded during bow, I mean the place is huge it can't be that bad can it?

It offers some amazing bow hunting there is plenty of land. I'm not going to make it seem like you wont have company, but the bowhunting there is decent.  Do not leave anything there overnight. Things have a way of disappearing over there.

It is a law no stands over night on public land. I use my climber and just bring a tree saw to cut out what I need.

I was told by a Park Police officer in Sussex County last year that I can't leave stands in State Parks. I can put one up in the AM but have to remove it in the PM. Or use a portable.

John is right legally you have to take it with you. Climbers are the best for state land.

Ok prove it. The only place I know of that it is written that you cant leave a stand is at six mile run state park (special bow only area), and the only reason is they dont feel like dealing with stolen stand reports. Other WMA's, state parks, and state forests your fine.

there is nothing about leaving stands in wma.  you are allowed, the only thing you can't do is build stands on wma.
