It's getting closer.
Gotta start getting The Girls in a little better shape. I kept the excess weight off them this year but I haven't been good about extra exercise. No swimming etc. Only runs in the back yard. ![]() __________________ "A bad day of hunting is better than a good day of work"

Are they still stcking Quail for dog training? I know they did it a few years ago at Whittingham about 3 or 4 weeks before the season starts....anyone know? __________________ Hunt with a Vizsla, Cause life's to short to hunt with an ugly dog!

NJ 2008 Pheasant and Quail Stocking Schedule (Tentative)
The Div. of Fish and Wildlife anticipates pheasant releases to be in excess of 50,000 birds, and 11,000 quail for release on these wildlife management areas:: Assunpink, Berkshire Valley, Black River, Clinton, Colliers Mills, Dix, Flatbrook-Roy, Glassboro, MacNamara (Tuckahoe), Millville (Bevans), Nantuxent, Pequest, Port Republic, Walpack and Whittingham WMAs will be stocked with pheasant for the following hunting dates: November 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27 and 29 December 2, 4, 6, 20 and 27 The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Heislerville, Howardsville, Mad Horse, Manahawkin, Manasquan, Medford, Stafford Forge and Winslow WMAs will be stocked with pheasants for the following hunting dates: November 8, 15, 22, 27 and 29 December 6, 20 and 27 The Greenwood Forest and Peaslee WMAs will be stocked with quail for the following hunting dates: November 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27 and 29 December 2, 4, 6, 20 and 27 The Div. of Fish and Wildlife reminds hunters that this stocking schedule is tentative until approved by the Fish and Game Council in early October. The schedule is subject to pheasant production success and may change due to emergency weather conditions. __________________ Life Member NRA
