It wasn't cheap. $5 per pound maybe, but well worth it.

Thanks. I called the local sports shop just now and they recommended Yards also.

Roche in Whitehouse, they do good work and never had a complaint about their sausage or pork roll.
The store is located right before the railroad tracks on 523 going North.

V Roche is my favorite, 25 years now never a problem.

Persons is on Rt 31. south.  I never used him other than to check in deer and to donate deer to the Hunter Helping the Hungry program.

Persons is good and Roche is good too. I've used them both with no issues

Roche is better than Persons I had ticks in my chop meat from Persons and never been back since

my brother brought a very very small deer to persons this year, they told him he would get a discount because it was so small, he picked up a shoebox of meat for $80.

Roche makes the best peperoni i ever had, and does a good job on the cuts.

I have used Persons for over 10 years no problems but his prices for butchering and finished products are high. Would like to try Roche. Does he vaccum seal? Persons does not. I have not seen any signs on Penn Ave. for Yards ?

V. Roche & Sons in Whitehouse is also my favorite.  I've been going there for years.
