Honestly IMO, they're junk. Unless savage has drastically changed something in the last 2 years, they're about worthless. They only work to 20, 25 yards max. After that you have to compensate... Pretty much the same exact thing as having one pin. So why not just get a traditional fiber optic sight and have your pins sighted in at your appropriate yardage's... Best investment is a range finder for all you yardage woe's...

thats absolutely false. maybe on one you used or set up but you shouldn't comment in general terms. most pendelums are good out to 30 or 40 yards with no compensating.

i love my keller. have use the same one for about 18 years. with my fps i have to compensate after 25 yards. i shoot a 58lbs pull with alum arrow, and a 130gr head.

Shot at a big buck back in the old days, he was a little up hill, did not realize it and missed. Not for me.

I politely disagree. We shot them for a few years and the first year or so thought they were great. Till we started shooting more and longer distances and realize they are good for no more than 25 yards. Me and two other friends used them. My best friend is finally moving away from it w/ his new Matthews this year. I ditched it last year and couldn't be any happier. The optic was terrible in low light to, way to blurry due to the setup.

My furthest shot was 39 yds, I Thought it was 35 till I ranged it a few days later.. Maybe your shooting a slower bow. BTW my site is the Savage Quick Click Ranger Pendulum. Can be used from a tree or on the ground , adjustable up to 70 yds..

My bow's actually pretty fast w/ my setup. When I had it tuned it was shootin over 330FPS. We used the Savage sights as I said and I was not impressed w/ them. Especially at ground level...

I shot keller for years. I still have one on my back up bow. Only problem I found with Keller is when the rubber O ring wears or breaks you can here it hit  on release.

The Savage QC Ranger and  The Keller both have the option of shooting from the ground. The Keller allows you to loosen a set screw and move the pin to 4 or 5 locations. The QC Ranger has a squeezable thing-a ma -jig that goes from 20-70 yds in either 1 yd, 5 yd or 10 yd increments . The key to the Savage is that the site must be set to your speed in order for it to work .

No, that was just another reason to stop using them, because I started hunting the ground more often. Even I'm not that dumb
