Moultrie Game watcher 4.0 D-40
GREAT CAMERA and on sale at Walmart for only $74.00
If you're worried about the flash spooking deer then hang the camera high and point it down at the deer, if you think flash will scare the deer,. I personally think most deer may notice it but aren't concerned with it at all. I would bet that the human smells from handling the camera are more then likely what possibly may scares away some deer in the beginning, not the flash as deer see lightning strikes all the time so it shouldn’t spook them that bad. I love my D-40 cams ![]() __________________ Pete's Archery Service & NJH.com ProStaff ProFile

Moultrie make great cams.
The I40 is what we use, along with others. It is infrared, very clear, pretty quick and has a video feature that works rather well. __________________ When a gun-hunter sees the animal he wants- the hunts over. When a bow-hunter sees the animal he wants, the hunt is just begining !

The I40 is infrared, no flash and the D40 utilizes a flash in low light conditions. __________________ F&A Mason

doesnt the i40 have a slow response time? a little slower than some other cams but most people put cams out on bait or mineral site or a scrape so the response time is not much an issue unless your trying to put the camera on run. __________________ If you like to video your hunts or fishing experiences check out

My cuddeback Excite works great 2nd year no problem. Takes good photos. The flash does not scare the deer in my opinion.
