I had a nice spot in Harrison Twp. An elderly ladies property. She recently started getting a bit of dementia perhaps from Alzheimer's. She lived alone and her daughter moved in or started coming around every day to check on her and decided they didn't want anyone hunting the property anymore.
It was a nice spot that had some nice 120 class deer passing through it. I missed a trophy tom, had to be 25lb bird, with a bow three years ago there. What I liked the most about it was that it was a quick 15 minute ride from my house so I could get an early season evening hunt in after work with one of our sons. I'm still looking for a spot in that area. __________________ Cub Scout 1973

Bunch of us from the same area. I'm also from Mullica Hill. Work in West Deptford.
It is about impossible to gain access to land around here anymore. I've had people I've known for 20 years turn me down. Three years ago I had about four private pieces. I'm down to one and even that is not cemented for this year. Did a lot of public land the last few years. |
