topwater bassers will be hosting it's 2nd and final open buddy tourney of the year on saturday 8/16/08 on pompton lake.. we will be launching right near the lakeside ave bridge next to the small park area.. it's 60bucks per boat to enter.. 5 fish limit.. 12 inches per fish.. tourney runs from 6am to 2pm.. we will be giving out 2 nice plaques to the 1st place winners as well and 2nd place winners will get 2 nice trophies.. any questions just email me.. hope to see ya there

topwater bassers had it's 2nd and final open buddy tourney of the season.. we had 24 boats fish the tourney.. a total of 59 bass were weighed in.. weather started out with overcast skies with fog in the a.m. then clearing up to sunny blue bird skies with a slight breeze in the afternoon.. water temps range from 75-79.. and the water was typical PL green stained!! congrats to bill & his son chris for taking 1st place today.. they weighed in 4 fish at 11lbs even.. tim & mike took 2nd place weighing in 5 fish at 10lbs 6oz.. al & jay grabbed 3rd & lunker today.. they weighed in 5 fish at 10lbs 2oz.. their lunker went 4lbs 5oz.. thanks everyone for coming out today!!! here are the rest of the results.. check out website for pics.. www.topwaterbassers.com
