I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!! As a reminder, the Barbertown Sportsmen's Club / OTHS Class of 1981 2nd Annual Tubing and Camping event is approaching quickly. Everyone had a GREAT time last year and I'd like to see the same thing happen again this year, but with a bigger group!!! I need a head count of who will be attending this year's event on or before August 8, 2008. Please shoot me an e-mail or call to confirm your attendance. This is a great, inexpensive way to end the summer before the kids go back to school / off to college. Details are as follows: Date(s): August 15, 16, & 17, 2008 - Invite your families & friends to join us!!! Meeting Place: Barbertown Sportsmen’s Club - 222 Kingwood Station Barbertown Road, Frenchtown, NJ (Restroom facilities, parking, campground, & 4 cooking grills provided.) Check out our website to get directions at: [url=www.barbertownsportsmensclub.com]Barbertown Sportsmens Club[/url] Cost to camp: $20.00/tent (BSC Fundraiser) – CHECKS ONLY made payable to “Barbertown Sportsmen’s Club”. Bring food, beverages, camping equipment, charcoal, & a couple of logs of firewood for the campfire - Attached is a camping checklist. Cost to tube: $20.00/person (price includes meal on the river with the Famous River Hot Dog Man, NJ sales tax, & $1.87/person Fundraiser Donation to BSC – You don’t pay anything for tubing until the day of the trip !!! Please bring cash payment to give to group leader the day of trip!!!) WE WILL BE TUBING ON SATURDAY AUGUST 16, 2008 AT 1:00 PM – 4:00/5:00 PM - Don’t forget sneakers/ water shoes, sunscreen, towels, & bathing suits (optional!!! HeHeHe). RSVP BY AUGUST 8, 2008. Jon, is it BYOB  ? or no booze alowd?

jon, for the head count,
me and andrina will be there i mentioned it to my other friend and his gf, they might come, he said he will ask her and get back to me... ryan will most likely come mike is away in Georgia for work (FLETC) i think my cousin has a group of 5 that are coming.. ask him.. jimmy and weronika say they are comming, but they usually change their mind at the last second.. and i got 2 more people to call who hang out with other groups, im gonna try and see how many more i can get through them.

It's BYOB
There is absolutely no drinking on the tubing trip itself - Delaware River Tubing forbids it and will confiscate any alcohol you try to bring with you before you board their bus. Any drinking after the trip / during the campout will be kept in check by those of us running the event. |

IF you can only make it out for Sunday's picnic, the charge is $20 and you can feel free to spend the day shooting your bow, and BSing... just bring a target.
