They are hard to judge this time of year but I would bet he is close to 140 or above before deductions. He is a great deer,he would make for a great season.

depends on how much growing he does in the next month or so. I'd say minimum 135 and he may top out at almost 150. beautiful deer. thats a shooter in any state.

He looks like he is pretty much grown to almost his full capacity. If you look at the Buck to the right of him that Buck still has the rounded ball look at the end of his tines. The big 8 has more pointed tips which to me says he is almost done growing.

I would have to say I don't think that’s the case John I had a decent basket 8 pointer that in the middle of July sure looked to be done growing with fully grown tines a few years back, and when I saw him mid September while on stand I couldn't believe how much more mass and width he grew in the few weeks left of growing season, same thing with a super nice 9 pointer I watched grow a few seasons ago I would almost bet that bad boy still has quite a few inches left to put on

I think the tine length is about done growing but he will put on mass and width. Your probably right DT.. I hope he gets him so we cam compare these pix to the Trophy pix. __________________ >>>>----> NJH Pro Staffer.

That buck has A TON of growth and doesnt appear to be older than 2 !!
