Does anybody use them and how do the hold up when they hit bone?   Do they open by themselves or in your quiver?  Can you stalk and hit a twig without having the open "by accident"?  Please don't tell me to try the Rage broadheads because I've been there and didn't like the results.

I love them and they are great. Haven't lost deer since switching from fixed heads. They fly just like field points. I have been consistent out  to 50 yards. It can get expensive if you like to shoot a lot of deer. I still  think the are worth it. You should try 'em. I shoot 70lbs out of my matthews sbxt with the 100 grain razor tips> i believe . I ve been using them for 3 years and have 2 other friends who believe in them also. good luck.

I like these myself.. But if I were to use mechanicals this year it would be rage or grim reapers. I have seen some amazing shooting with both of them. No broadhead tuning, just screw them on and shoot them. I watched the show on outdoor channel the other night with the Gregorys, can't remember the name of it but the wife shot a deer at around 40 yards with a chick bow and penetrated both shoulder blades with a rage head. When I saw where she hit it, I cringed then when they went and found it they said she shot through both shoulders. Amazing for any bow and broad head at 10 yards let alone 40 with a mechanical and probably a bow not more than 50-55 lbs..

I swithed to mechanicals last year. The first deer I shot dropped within 15 yards. But I also cut a quarter of the heart apart. Blood drained right out.

Grim Reaper
They fly like field points and leave a very shot and very large blood trail with a dead deer at the end....

I tried them two seasons ago.  Hit or miss, they are disposables.

Most broadheads today are disposable.  Thunderheads and muzzies have replacement blades but.  I'd rather only have to shoot once and replace the broadhead.

would definitely like to see that

Dont mea to hijack the thread. But Im looking to switch to Muzzy mx-6. I hear there is little tuning involved because of the profile of the head. Anyone use these and dont have to adjust when shooting field tips?

I shot grims last yr with awsome results. they hit hard and dont stop when they hit bone. i only use them or good old spitfires. And when they say the gims fly like feild point, they meen in the same groups not to one side or the other. i use the razor tipped ones. and blades change easly.

love the grimm reapers. i dont like to re-use them though after a kill. the rage broadheads look like and remind me of the gator broad heads that came out years ago and dont like that scissor type design. i would recommend with any mechanical broadhead to please wait for a good shot broadside and dont take any hard fancy angle shots because i dont trust any mechanical broadhead to open properly but thats just me.

Grim Reapers are the only one i'll use. I shoot them open or closed depending on how thick the cover.Never had a deer go more than 60 yds. One was still in perfect working condition after going through both shoulder blades at 18 yds with a 62lb bow.

RAGE!!!! baby!!! RAGE!!!!!!!!!I'll try somethin else if these f up on me,but for now, they do the job

They also never fail to open, fall apart or pop open in the quiver.
