It was requested that we post some of our older bucks that were products of good qdm.  Here are a few from last week.   I had a hard time getting approval from our group to post these pics but enjoy.  Also I formally apologize for any comments or posts that were written by our prostaff in bad taste.  All were spoken to.  Hope you enjoy the pics.

Bri, I've got a picture of that big 8 that we thought was the same deer ChrisM posted, but he is far away from the cam.

If I can resize it in a way that its still viewable on here, I'll add it to these 3.5/4.5yo photos.

If anyone can enlarge that photo, I'm looking to get the deer in the back, along the corn field, to be shown in better detail.

I can blow it up on my computer, but I've got NO idea how you all get larger photos in a post.

Thanks.

I do believe so....We dont have our website trail cam photos segregated by States, yet, but when we do you'll be able to see which deer are from where.

The bucks I just posted are NOT NJ deer, just to clarify, but I figured it would show that our ENTIRE team is QDM minded.

The single photo I posted above, that beast is a NJ buck...

Ya Chris we've been counting an average of 16 in that field you're talking about.

Dont worry bro, like I said, you can come over for a hunt or two this season with me...

We were out there today, trimming shooting lanes and my brother jumped a lil buck. The thing hung out with us RIGHT there for like 5mins, then decided to cross the "blank" and go to where your uncle wacked his beast.

I cant believe how loaded we are with those boys, Chris. This is really going to be an interesting early season.

Eh, thats the problem, Chris...No matter what, they are there if the crops are, and we've got some plots planted, about 1 mile from the field you were seeing them in.

BUT, its like 2 TOTALLY different herds.

There is NOT alot of woods, they bed so randomly. You walk to a stand one day and bump nothing, the next, you bump the entire herd.

Right now, they are obviously holding up in the corn...but once that corn is down, the woods are off limits aside form morning hunts, and even mornings are difficult.

Like we talked about before, we secured the property over the "things", thats where they go if they dont cross onto the other part of the property.

Its really a first week kind of thing...I have one set hung there that is a 1 shot deal. If we dont get it done, I dont think we could ever go back to that set.

Who knows. I just enjoy being in stand and seeing these guys, harvesting one is a benefit.

I've got a stand hung in the back right corner of that field, Chris...Almost EVERY deer comes out 10 yards from it .

Once those bachelor groups break up, its going to be hard as well, even with crop...Bucks wont bed together, in turn, stretching out the bedding areas. Good thing we have 200 acres of corn planted...

Haha..that it does.

With so LITTLE woods, scouting was even more difficuly than with more woods.

Why ?

Because they stay in the corn and only cross the timber strips seldomnly.

So, we REALLY had to pin-point highly used trails. Finding buck trails was so difficult.

I coudlnt believe how much scouting it took to get a few good sets hung. Fields edges are great, but not for morning or rut hunts.

We have a few more to hang, you'll probably see my blue durango over there next weekend.

Chris, there were deer in that field earlier today, while we were out there. I'm not sure if the big boys were there because we had to run over the the RT.1 spot and post...

I had thought about going back and glassing, but I think I'm holding off until a weekday night, you want to get out there, one night ?

Oh, and the coyotes have been making their presence known. Security has been seeing them all over. Might have to grab the .223 when the predator season rolls in.

These deer are all alive. We are showing what is walking around because our guys passed on the scrappers when they were younger.
