the last thread had crummy photos as well as much work going on in them, now that the club had been freshly painted and remodleing has been done on the whole property, i took better pictures... Mind you, we are still not 100% finished refurbishing...

VISIT OUT WEB PAGE : WWW.BarbertownSportsmensClub.COM Membership entitles you to year-round use of: Clubhouse • 4,000 square foot two-story clubhouse • Sleeping quarters – (22) beds • (3) Bathrooms • (1) Shower • Kitchen with refrigerator • Forest Stewardship Program (FSP) implemented on club owned property. Forest Stewardship promotes long-term active management while emphasizing consideration of all the forest resources and benefits. Hunting • (12) properties totaling approximately 800 acres o Most properties are adjacent to or surrounded by non-hunted properites o 1 Fixed treestand per member, move it wherever/whenever you want. o 1 portable stand/blind per member. Must be removed when hunt is completed. • QDMA Practiced o QDMA “Lockatong Creek Branch” now forming based out of our club o Bucks harvested need to be 6 point or better o (2) Does per year, harvest of mature does encouraged Shooting • 100-yard rifle range with shooting benches • Trap Range o Automatic feed trap machine Holds up to 400 clay birds 100 foot cord for push button release Throws the birds in a random pattern, 50 degree horizontal arc o Five (5) shooting stations, paths are radiating out from the trap house • Archery Range o Large, well hung, ladder stands are set up for shooting archery out of with maximum distances of well over 40 yards. o Bring your own target (for now) Fishing • Trout Fishing o Numerous stocked creeks, streams, rivers, and reservoirs are in the area that is approx. 5 - 40 mins. from the clubhouse (Locatong Creek, Capoolong Creek, South Branch of the Raritan in Clinton, High, Bridge, Califon, and Ken Lockwood Gorge, Pohatcong Creek, Musconetcong River, Pequest River, etc...). • Channel Catfish. Shad, Stripers, Small Mouth, and Large Mouth o The Delaware River is less than a mile away from the clubhouse

is this just a deer club or is there small game also ,how is the herd on the club lands your dues pretty much get you any legal hunting you want on the leased properties... just respect others (dont rabbit hunt where people are deer hunting, etc...) we are MOSTLY deer hunters. the herd is terrific, and should be getting better as we limit our members to 2 does / year and nothing smaller than a 6 pointer.
