I had a Chuck move into one of my Irrigation pipes. So this being a LAZY summer afternoon, I figured I'd just set a spell and watch for him.
This time though I went prepared. Beach chair, iced tea, new Motorcycle magazine to read, and of course my .223 rifle.
I set up about 150yds. from the pipe. It took about 2 hrs. for him to poke his head out. At least I think it was 2hrs. I fell asleep for a while. Man that chair was nice and soft.
Once his head cleared the pipe enough, BANG !

Boy those little 50gr. HP's are NASTY !!

Here's the set up.  Really roughing it !

The results ................   UGH !!

In the end, it's the "HUNTER" that gets the deer not the BOW !
The bowman, to be successful as a hunter, must learn to perfection the habits of his game.
NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF BOW HE USES !

Federal Factory HP. Somebody gave me a case of them.

The rifle is a REM. Model 7 with a 2.8-10 Simmons Aetec scope. It stays on the quad all summer. Never lost it's zero yet.
