Well this was my first year turkey hunting. And it was a great experience. I learned a lot. So here is my question what is the differance between spring and fall turkey? Do you still use the calls? I know you can take either sex. Need some back from the pros.![]() __________________ Ernrok

It's way different Ernie. Last fall I hunted EVERY DAY and never saw or heard even one bird, although I did see a 10 pointer. I suggest Bow hunting for DEER with a turkey permit in your back pocket
The object is to find a flock, bust them up, then sit and call them back together and shoot one as they are getting back together. __________________ Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Diet Coke in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!" - Maxine

I agree with Ms Grit. Go bowhunting with a turkey permit under your deer license. If one comes by, all the better. __________________ NRA Life Member

When exactly is Fall Turkey hunting in 2008? I looked over the NJ website and found all sorts of other information but not the season... can anyone post up the dates? __________________ Joe
