How is the Medford WMA during bow seasons? Once pheasant starts I know forget about it but I recently lost my private property and was thinking about heading over to the WMA to do some scouting and see what I could fine. Does it get crowed? Would a stand be safe in there from Sept. to Mid november? Let me know to those guys who have expereience with that area. __________________ If you want to save a species, simply decide to eat it. i wouldnt leave a stand on any state land i a heard south is even worse i would get a climber as for deer all the places that have birds are the same way once the bird hunters start chaging the woods its real tough early bow is best before they get presured __________________ ubnj member

i would not leave a stand on any public land in jersy...not alot of guys hunt the bow season there..hunt just outside the safety zones the deer are behind the houses and will come out to play an hour before dark hope this helps you....the powerlines get alot of early deer activity also __________________ i pay to hunt here....do you "pay to hike here"

Deffinately do not leave your stand there. The place isn't that big and you won't be alone. You must live awfully close or don't drive if thats your choice spot. Good luck and no hard feeling meant, just a heads up. __________________ The 4 seasons - Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Hunting Season

You must live awfully close or don't drive if thats your choice spot Definitely not my choice spot but like I said I lost my private property this year due to different land owners and they're not hunter friendly at that. For me it's a 2 minute drive down the road and went for a walk last night. Found one stand that looks like it was just put up and a hunting box chained to a tree. I think I found a nice little spot on the property and plan on marking my territory next weekend. For now it'll have to do. Don't plan on missing out on the season because of some D-bag landowners ![]() __________________ If you want to save a species, simply decide to eat it.
