To all the Dads out there, Happy Father's Day!
Just as some of our Dads took us fishing and hunting when we were younger, we need to carry on the tradition and continue. If you haven't done so already, introduce your daughters and sons to fishing, hiking, hunting, shooting, whatever. If you already have, GREAT! My Dad is no longer alive, but I think of him often during the holidays and the special family traditions we had. I think of him on his birthday. I think of him on my birthday and the Tonka trucks he'd buy me when I was a child and then I grew up and then I started getting fishing lures as presents, etc. I think of him while in my stand hunting every time I am out there. Bottom line, good memories. I wish all the Dad's out there a good weekend and Happy Father's Day! |
