You can probably wait until a few weeks before the shoot to get a dog & guide... but it may be a good idea to see how many members are bringing a dog first. Maybe you can hook up with someone who's bringing a dog.

I hope they all fly towards Dragthor... that way there will be lots of birds getting up when we get the dogs out and hunt up the leftovers

Seems as though theres always stragglers. Jon can I suggest that as of a certain date all need to be paid or it goes to the alternative list.

Is it fair that some of us paid when others didn't yet?

We who paid have the same problems as anyone who didn't and as you asked we paid. Why haven't the rest of you paid yet?????

Deadline for sending payment is October 2 After October 2, we'll turn to the alternate list

PheasantTail asked about how many shells to bring. Last year I think I shot almost 3 boxes worth of shells. Probably should bring at least 4 boxes though, especially if the wind is blowing. #6 shot is probably the best.  What does everyone else think? 4 boxes enough?
