Why not just join us for the am towershoot and then take the dog out to hunt up the leftovers afterwords?
I'm not going to need any more birds! Well at that point i won't have any, but i know the following weeks i will have plenty. I am just looking to run my dogs and meet some of the NJH members.

I'm have to do some heavy training with Autumn this summer.  Last year's shoot I think was too much shooting for her and she was very timid.  She was getting better towards the end of last season but that was with just me hunting over her.  I'll definitely let you know if I'm bringing Autumn.  But then again, I am also bringing 3 other guys.  I'll let you know.

Yeah I forgot about that. Sorry. Did you laugh at the check. My wife picked them out and I get embarassed everytime I send one out. So if anyone received a check  with little puppies or kittens on it, it probably from me.

What about the classic style of a fancy dog? Just maybe I'll have my new gun to by then?

Looks like a lot of dogs going to be around.

My old girl friend came back and said what would you like

Highlander 20 I told her that I would go easy on her this trip back

See this way I can say oh thats your gun and now we need a Faust also for over Abby. Shes the one who pleaded with me not to hunt Abby and wanted to buy me a Male when we dropped Abby off for training that day.
Posted:  25 Jun 2008 6:19 AM
Cat, you are bringing your dog(s) right?

Everyone should try to bring their dogs... for "clean up" after the shoot.

Don't you think it would be disrespectful to the farm to basically say, "we're hunting your grounds and would like a nonpaying person bring their dog... even though you have lots of great dogs and guides for hire." I just don't think it's right

I didn't post the info to the farm to be disrespectful, I posted it to have the individual for themselves find out what the farm thought.

I really have no idea about the guides or even how they are hired by the farm...

My feeling is if you can't shoot with us then it is disrepectfull as Jon mentioned. It seems harmless enough but it borders on disrespect in my thinking as well?

Yes I will bring Abby. Actually I think we should get a count of dogs to see where we are at actually. Ring why aren't you signed up with us. Theres a lot of us who don't need birds but this is going to be a fun shoot plus I never been to a driven pheasant shoot either so I don't know what to expect.

I wasn't saying that you were being disrespectful lungbuster and I'm sorry if it came out that way My post was actually directed at Ringneck. I was just trying to say that I don't think it's right for someone to run their dog if they're not a paying customer who is joining us for the entire shoot.
