| The second team guys will we be all on the grounds together and if so can we have the hole day there for NJH and then hunt up the birds in the fields later that sliped by the towers? What about bird cleaning? Make it a hole day with dinner and all a real NJH function so to speak? | ||

Cat - yeah, both tower shoots will take place on the grounds of the farm. Each group of 20 will be together. We'll all meet up by the farmhouse in the morning to sign in, have some coffee or donuts, disuss safety and then break up into groups of 20. I don't care which group I shoot with, as long as I'm with my brother. After the towershoot portion, we'll all head back to the farmhouse to have lunch. Then after lunch we'll get the dogs and hunt up all of the leftovers. Last year we hunted until 3 or 4 pm. And yes... Giberson's offers bird cleaning. I will definately be using their bird cleaning service this year. __________________ Dog's on point... get ready!!!

When you think about it, I spend most of my hunting season in the deer woods, and shoot for ducks, and upland birds only a few times during each season. Thus my annual pheasant take is about 6 birds with regular season hunting. That's $40.00 for the stamp, and at least $20.00 out of pocket on each trip. I agree with MTH, it was a great time and really a great deal when you think about it. They get 55 dollars to have a handler and dog hunt with a group of 4 after the tower shoot. If you add 25.00 per guy you can have a great dog find you more birds and tip the guy. Lefteye, myself, droppinem and droppinems friend did this last year. Well worth it.. Lunch was great and you didn't have to leave the premises and pay more money.. __________________ "from my cold dead hands"
