Saturday morning will probably be best. At the crack of dawn so it's not too hot.  Your right we definietely need a trail cam sponsor.  Have Dave call Gordon.  Only you and Josh's profile pics are on the website so far.  Do you know what the deal is with that?

Once my beans come up, Bri, we can start glassing fields. I cant see my food plot from anywhere that wont spook deer(side from stands) but the beans get DESTROYED here in the early season.

Think your woman would let you get away for a few hours at night ? I like to be in position(park the car and sit in it with teh AC on) early in the afternoon.

I was wondering the same thing. I guess not many hunters have their cameras out yet.

Rules sound good the initial idea of this was for velvet bucks only to pass the time until the bow season starts but I guess we can continue it.  Suitable prize who is going to pay for it?  I think it would be cool if the winner of each catagory got a 1 day hunt with the member of their choice that didn't win.

It is for fun. a "suitable prize" can be pretty much anything-lets say a $15.00 gift card to Cabela's or somthing like that. I'll cover the "suitable prize" portion.

Nope. Just post your trail cam pics in accordance with the rules.

My friend collected the card from one of my properties for me this morning.  I was busy helping another member hang some stand sets.  6 different bucks were captured from this camera in 1 week and 1 has 17 inches of beam growth and is well out past his ears. Got a couple fawns too

Bri, that buck looks good. 3.5yo max, though..Dont you think ?

I BET you he is the 9 pointer ya'll kept passing up last season. Maybe others can learn from us about letting lil ones walk(just kidding guys, shoot what makes YOU happy).

I'm thinking about putting a camera on that fence crossing after my test.

Should I post a photo of my big boys ?!?!

Pics above were taken with an I40.  Ur right Anthony he is 3.5.  I probably won't shoot him again this year.  The curly horn buck should be a brute this year we have his shed from last year.  I just wish he had better brow tines.  There are two gene lines going through that property.  One of them has really long tine length, beam length and spread with short brows. And the other has good brows and high and tight.

I think the cold snap that week triggered him to drop that week.  We didn't get any more pictures of him with last years antlers after this date.
