I'm looking forward to it also Bacs. Last year, all of the money we received came from INDIVIDUALS except for $100.00 we received two days before the election from a sporting goods store. We were surprised by the fact that sporting goods stores, bait shops, the businesses you mentioned above, etc. didn't donate anything - but we attributed it to the fact that we were new and had no track record. Now that we have a bit of a track record, remain all voluteer, have a council made up of 14 very prominent outdoor organizations, have managers, directors, reps, all working to advance the interests of sportsmen and sportswomen - PLUS a full time paid lobbyist in Trenton to help promote all of our interests... I, too, am hoping that proprietors see that we add value to their businesses and that they are "forthcoming."

A sincere thanks to everyone for their help and support. I know that there are many organizations asking for your financial support - and that the requests can become overwhelming.
I can assure each of you that we are all doing our best to make a difference in New Jersey on behalf of outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen. Our focus is on making Trenton and legislation fisher/hunter/trapper friendly and we are trying to change the "anti" culture in much of NJ. I think it is fair to say that there isn't another outdoor organization with the same emphasis as the NJOA - so you are not duplicating your efforts with your donations. Thanks again to everyone.
