The birds were pretty quiet at daybreak. Once I did finally hear one he was with a hen. I called in the hen but not the Gobbler, When she went back to him I got closer and called her back again, This time the Gobbler got to with -in 40 yards but I didn't have a clear shot. They started walking off again and I really started scoulding the hen. This time she came running towards me!! Putting and Yelping all the way!!
She was only about 5 yards from me when she spotted me and started to alarm putt...The Gobbler was in full strut behind a log and when she putted..He stuck his head up and I dropped him at 35 yards!!!

I reached down to pick him up and I was pleasantly surprised at his Hooks....1 1/2" and really sharp !!!

This bird has been around awhile !

I had a hen just about run me over yesterday. She even flew up into a tree to look for me. The gobbler never came, and he was on private property. I learned a lot from that hen.....

When I'm working a Gobbler and a Hen starts yelping...I give the situation a thumbs-up.
Working a Hen can be more fun then working a Gobbler.
And if the hen comes in ...The Gobbler is usually right behind her.
This mornings hunt was one of the best I've ever had.

Yes it does,
I have used your 'Double Talker' with great success this year. However it was the mouth call that got this hen fired up !  She was really worked up.

Great stuff!...I love it !
