Ok guys and gals, just a little over 2 weeks until the Striperathon. Im going to start this sign up thread now so there will be enough time for everybody to see it. If your going to attend, add your name to the list. As of right now, the get together will be at Jakeabobs in Union Beach. Its only about 2 miles from the weigh in. As some of you know, The deck at Jakeabobs is under major renovations and SHOULD be done by the 10th. I speak with the owner on a daily basis and she tells me it shouldn't be a problem. IF it is, i have a back up plan. So dont worry. She pretty much guaranteed me it will be open by then though. For you guys that have been to Jakeabobs, just wait until you see what shes done with the deck. Its Amazing. Id like a a rough count by SUNDAY MAY 4th! I told her probably somewhere in the 20-30 range but i would like a rough count by the 4th. Here are the specifics Where: Jakeabobs - 525 Front Street Union Beach, NJ When: May 10th (after striperathon) Time: 5 P.M. The weigh in is at 4 so that gives us an hour to weigh in and get there. Jakeabobs is only a 2 minute drive from the weigh in spot. Just an FYI, we order food and drinks off the menu so there wont be a set price like some of the past get togethers. Its easier this way and we dont run into any problems. Everybody is welcome. Not just people that are participating in the Striperathon. Look forward to seeing everybody there!
