Well today I was sitting in my tree stand that I put up to view deer coming to a feeder. I got some nice Video, but didn't have a memory card in to take pic's...anyway... Had about 10 deer come in, they where playing & eating... about 2 minutes later a small hurt limping SKIN TORN FRONT SHOULDER fawn comes in... A 2-3 year old DOE was running it off, But that poor thing just walked over and bedded down next to a tree. Tomorrow I'll be back in the tree, but I'll have my Camera this time to get pic's. I'm really hoping this deer makes it... Code: Hopefully it'll make it that long.
I will not shoot this deer for 3 years I got a total of 14 minutes of video...The feeder is in a clearing 10 yards from good cover/woods, The hunting stand is just off of two trails ..One just under the stand about 2 yards from the base of the ladder stand, second trail is 10 yards from base of ladder stand.. This trail also has a cross road in it... The main trail in front of stand.. has a nice deep cut trail that the deer are using. | in that group of 10, did you see any antlers budding? I saw a group of 5 today on my way to work that had the beginnings af antler going on. The biggest had 3 to 4" already and REALLY heavy...I sure am glad that turkey season will be a distraction for the next month or so... | ||

Who created mother nature I guess darwin
The other day I walked out of my house and Abby ran over and was sniffing and bird nest that fell out of the tree. Next to the nest were 3 little birds that must have died in the fall. These things are sad to see. I know we can kill anything then have sentimental hearts when we see the nature we love die of unexplained causes. Hey Sal did darwin create our hearts as well
