I used to be big into trout fishing. I don’t know if it’s because I have lost interest, desire or just plain old time to trout fish. But the drive is gone.  I like working on my grass and doing stuff like that now. I would imagine if I had a nice clean mountain stream to fish in it would be different. Fishing the Manasquan mud water just doesn’t seem to do  it for me anymore.
Since getting married and buying a house I have been spending a lot of my late winter / spring on my house and landscaping. I fish in the spring and summer for fluke and bass but that’s really about it. I'm off during the week so its gets boring being out in the boat alone. I hope this summer will rekindle my fishing spirits, if not my boat might be for sale in the fall. The past year or two, hunting has really been one of my main focuses and I’m slowly becoming addicted to all aspects of hunting. Wow, that was long winded but it gave me some time to think about it.

I haven't fished in at least 15 years, but after talking with Droptine and my son seeing his fish, My 3 y/o son asked me to take him fishing so maybe I'm back to the waters after hunting is done from now on, as for where? it will be very local since it will be training time for my son

Hunting is my favorite but when there ar eno hunting seasons i automatically go into fishing mode...any fish anywhere any time...from trout to stripers and everything in between...work durin the day and fish all night all summer...and fish on my days off...bt once hunting season rolls around the rods are gone and the bow comes out
