that is a shame it is getting to the point that you have to haul everything in and out even on private land

Any kids in the area? Why would they take the blind, and leave the stand and seat? Sorry to hear that. This state is really getting out of control with all the theft
Posted:  24 Feb 2008 5:00 PM
Why can't people leave SH_t well enough alone. there is no reason to steal something. WTF. I hate seeing people's stuff that they paid alot for stolen. Just pisses me off. There's no reason for it.It was probably kids who did it not even an adult.

My thoughts exactly. Sounds like kids. Probably 14 or younger, Older than that they they would have taken the stand and try to sell it. Maybe you just missed them as they couldn't carry i all at once. Go check neighbors yards this spring and see what kids are camping out.

really sorry to hear about your loss, I know it really p-ssis you off to have something stolen. I hope you catch the dirt bags, I agree sounds like kids. but on the bright side, your a luck person to have 400 acres with very little access. good luck

After the snow? Too bad either way. Every spot in NJ gets trampled even if its private.

it was before the snow unfortunately

Maybe they had to make 2 trips and if you didn't come when you did, the rest of it might not have been there the next day. I hate hearing this stuff. I use climber or permanent stands most of the time these days.

Sorry to hear that. It's sad that you cannot leave "anything" even on private land.

Funny thing you said that , I had a cuddyback no flash stolen two weeks ago in zone 8 , I have a friend in the car electronics biz working up a proposal to the company for a cellular gps device , that if the camera has been moved without keying in the lock code , it will notify you.

Amazing, so much gear stolen already this year.

I don't understand some people in NJ, why do they have to be such damn scumbags?  Go earn a damn living and get your own shit...we all had to earn ours and now your scumbag ass has to steal it?
