I have got together with Rob from Targeteers Sporting Goods and we have decided to go ahead with a Deer Contest for 2008-2009 deer season. 1ST PRIZE: LARGEST ANTLERED BUCK RECEIVES A FREE SHOULDER MOUNT DONE BY JERSEY JAY’S TAXIDERMY LOCATED IN CLIFTON, NJ. 2ND PRIZE: RANDOM DRAWING FROM ALL ENTREES WILL ALSO WIN A FREE SHOULDER MOUNT DONE BY JERSEY JAY’S TAXIDERMY LOCATED IN CLIFTON,NJ. CONTEST RULES - DEER MUST BE HARVESTED LEGALLY FROM THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY - ALL DEER MUST BE HARVESTED UNDER “FAIR CHASE” (NO PRESERVE KILLS ALLOWED) - NJF&G’S SEALED METAL TAG MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE TAXIDERMIST - DEER MUST BE MEASURED (UNOFFICIALLY) BY JERSEY JAY’S TAXIDERMY (LOCATED 10 MINS FROM TARGETEERS) - ALL ENTREES MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE OPENING DAY ARCHERY SEASON 2008 - CONTEST ENDS AFTER THE LAST DAY OF WINTER BOW 2009 - DRAWING WILL BE HELD AND WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED WITHIN A WEEK AFTER THE SEASON ENDS. i was supposed to do it last year but didnt have it figured out yet.. starting it nice n early this year so ppl have time to join.
