yea, east of wharton, not a lot of deer, there are some big antlers, good for bow, but watch out 6 day, clubs hit it hard. lots of thick,big woods.

I live in Bass River and to be honest it flat out s*cks. Deer herd is way down and everywhere you look there are people. Just my opinion. there are a few nice deer taken but anymore when you go out and hunt your lucky to even see a deer a day. Not the same place it was 10 years ago.

I've hunted there the last 5 years and deer #'s are definately way down.
