While shed hunting in the mills last week I came across this rub. The tree is about 10" in diameter. I found a nice set of sheds from a 10pt not to far from the tree. I've already got my tree and aproach path set for next year.

Ken, any pictures of the sheds? are they from this year? I've been out a couple of times in the Mill so far and didn't find a thing.

Not in this area it is a small patch of high ground in a huge swamp. The area is about an acre in size The deer use it as a transitional zone and bed there when the water gets high in the swamp. I had to build two bridges last spring to get to the spot and I left it alone this year. Don't see any sign anyone else has been in there

the sheds I found are the ones mounted in the pic the skull is fake. They look like this year drops they already had some chews on the tips.

thats  a nice rub is there only one usual if hes in that area during the rut there should be more then one in that area

found about a dozen others in the area but none where this big

yeah but has been awhile I try to rotate spots so they don't get much pressure

found another nice rub in the mills today looks like this tree has been used for years. The cedar is about 8" in diameter
