On the last night of the season in zone 16 I took a nice doe. I shot her with my new 08 Elite archery Aigil. Shot her at 20 yds through both shoulders and the arrow stuck 3 inches in the ground. She only went 30yds. Trying to post a pic but says file is to big. Anyone have an idea how to resize it?

John, put it up on http://imageshack.us

Then use the [.img] tags with the "Direct Link" address to the pic.

Congrats dude!

You can save the file as a lower pixel count.  Or, upload it to Photobucket and then paste the IMG information.  I usually do the latter.

Nice job on the doe.

I love the Elites. I shoot my Aigil all the time. I am going to sell my synergy soon to order their new GTO 7 inch brace height and 348-350 fps and guys are getting 330+ with a 425 grain= hunting arrow. I really think they are the best made bows out there right now. If you ever want to shoot my Aigil or Synergy we can meet up. Thanks again.

That bow is awesome.  If I didnt want to get my hands on the 82nd Airborne I probably would have waited for the GTO.  Sportsmens Center is supposed to be an Elite Dealer but I havent seen any bows in the racks yet.  Maybe next season Ill get one

Thanks Chris. My older daughter hunts with me. She had a tough year this year. That asat is awesome. I shot both does out of a 15ft ladder stand. They looked up a few times but seem to look right through me. This one took at least 30 min to get into position for me to take the shot. The one I harvested on the 29th I dod not get pics of.
I plan on buying an early season asat leafy suit and some asat sitka gear fleece for next season for the cold weather.

Mike Marzo in Pittstown NJ is an Elite dealer. He is a UBNJ member I ordered my Aigil through him. He set up the bow and tuned it for free. You can shoot out to 80 yds at his place if you want to. He has a few GTOs coming in soon. I'll be up there testing them out.

I have a guy on archerytalk I get it from. He is an asat dealer and has the best prices I have ever found on the stuff. He runs free shipping specials often. I'll get prices from him. What size do you take?

Congrats John. Way to end the season on a good note. I've been reading up on the Elite bows. Man they are quick. How are they to shoot though. I know the new Bowtechs have no hand shock and are forgiving as anything. I was looking into getting a new Bowtech General, but now have to look into the Elite bows some more. I think your the only person I know who has one right now.

I was using a G5 tekean 2 with the extra cut blades which give you 1.5 inches of cutting diameter.

Chris, the elites have no hand shock at all they are super quiet and come with a string suppressor on them. Even their fastest bow the GTO has a 7 inch brace height which is awesome for a bow that shoots 340-350fps. If you want to shoot my synergy or Aigil stop by anytime. The designer/owner of elite was the former designer at bowtech until they started cutting corners with parts on the bow:ie not using winners choice strings and not telling anyone. He married the martin girl and they started elite. He uses the best parts on his bows. The limbs are by barnsdale and custom Tom Nealy bowstrings. They are a small company but the quality is incredible.
