I fell at work, hit an I-beam and partially amputated my foot I know how it feels to be home all day..I feel for you. I fell 10/25 missed the best part of the season. I had 2 monsters on the trailcam(posted earlier in season) good news is I've seen one still runnin around. I got out twice in the blind, fourtunately I have some great friends who help me get into my blind with my wheelchair. My 1 buddy actually piggybacked me 50yds. we were laughin so hard I'm suprised we saw anything that day. Good luck on your recovery, and hope your better for spring Turkey

I got out bowhunting twice, it was my first year. Then I tore my labrium and rotator cuff and bow was over for me. I bent my ramrod..and just 2 days ago putting away my muzzleloader for the year my powerhandle broke. Other then that I had a fantastic year. Lots of pheasants were shot and I got my first shot at a deer..blew that tree up nicely. ![]() __________________ To fish or not to fish...what a stupid question

Surprisingly enough no injury this year. I think it's in part due to my hunting a lot of zone 5 this year, which is pretty flat and forgiving unlike the rock-strewn zone 3 where I normally hunt. __________________ Please don't shoot my avatar.

Gee I feel lucky .... only bad thing that happened to me was the sight fell off my Enfield P53 Carbine muzzleloader ... have to solder it back on and then go through the sight in all over again.
And I didn't get a deer ... but me and the kid had a lot of fun in the woods. I broke my leg and ankle back on 2002 but I did mine in June so I wouldn't miss the season. You guys need to plan those things better next time. |

| Not a good season. No accidents to report and I did get several hours of good time in the woods, but I just didn't see as many deer as I am used to. Maybe next year. | ||

No accidents, but only been in the woods 13 times the entire season. Never drew my bow on a deer, and if it wasn't for the last day of 6 day would not have any venison in the freezer. My lowest deer harvest in many many years. __________________ "Wherever you go ........ there you are."

Sorry to hear about your blown seasons...hope you guys are on the mend.
I know what it's like to sit on the sidelines. I was clearing brush & chopping wood in Nov. 2004, two weeks before the firearms deer opener, when the axe took a bad hop & slammed into my ankle! Luckly my workpants, heavy wool sock & 14" leather boot slowed the blade, but I stil had a nasty gash to deal with. Missed tendon & bone, but required a bunch of sutures to close. |

i accidentaly shot a 2.5yo buck I shot a 2.5 you on purpose. And I am glad I did. You should take hunter re-hab classes so you know the difference in age class. If you are going to shoot 3.5 yo and 4.5 yo bucks you need to pass up those 2.5 yos....Post your 3.5yo and 4.5 yo bucks....lets see them. __________________ Sponsored by:
