There are not as many deer back in those woods as you would think, though....there are more across the street on the farm.

i had 2 trail cameras back there all last season...

Is that deer 4.5 or 3.5 or 2.5 yo?? Should have let him go another year.  They grow big with age....Right   Droptine?

Sorry man...but your wrong.  The township tracts there are huge....

I just looked at the zoning maps.  The homes on Princeton Pike only own right behind their houses and the twp owns a huge tract right across from the compost pile.

Here is the link to the zoning map.

He lied to you....

I always wonder who owns that abondoned house right there.  Why has no one bought that place?

That piece used to be a nursery, and the land was passed to the township in trust.  The Twp land is huge there.  It runs from the little dirt road off Princeton Pike that runs all the way to that historic house, almost all the way down Princeton Pike to where that new mansion is being built and all the way back to the canal.

Are you guys talking about where that old Pet (?) cemetery is on Princeton Pike? My cousin Scott's friend family owns a nice chunk around that area. They don't hunt and don't allow hunting on their property. He told me the pulls dozens of trespasser's stands out of there every year. I believe he said his property buts up to the back of Toys R' Us. I keep telling my cousin to pressure him to let us hunt it. So far he isn't budging.

Now that I am look at that map I could be wrong about where said he owned. Or maybe SAID he owned it and really doesn't.

I use to drive back there... years ago and get chased by a bunch of dogs. I believe that house is all fenced in now.

The township lands starts right past the pet cemetery where the road runs up to the historic house back there.

If your cousin owns all the way to Toys R' Us then he owns on both sides of the canal?

I also know that Peter Bac owns some of the land back in the area behind Toys R Us, but further down towards the crab shack.

DT249 claims to have permission to all that land on the Rt1 side of the canal....but there are several different land owners to that land.

Im not really sure what his friend owns, but I know it's supposably pretty nice back there. I know there are some nice bucks in that area. I had them run out in front of my truck more then once. Down between the canal and Reed's Sod Farm (Quaker Rd.)

I have pics from a nine pointer that still has both sides as of 04.14.  The deer are holding longer this year.  I have found alot of sheds in the same area though so not all of them are holding
