| Has anyone started looking for sheds yet? I usually don't start looking till end of February, but several people have mentioned finding a shed or two already near their bait. Maybe they are starting to drop a little early this year? Just curious. | ||

| It's always funt to look and even if it is early sometimes you find sheds from previous seasons. It's amazing how that happens. So many times I have walked the same properties over and over each year only to find an older shed thats been there for years and I wonder" How did I miss that before?" Probably most haven't started yet, I guess. | ||

Most of the bucks on my zone 12 and 14 pieces have dropped their bone. I did see a few bucks in fields, on the side of the road with antlers, just lil' guys though.
Looks like I will be walking our west windsor proeprties alone today, trying to find some sheds. __________________ When a gun-hunter sees the animal he wants- the hunts over. When a bow-hunter sees the animal he wants, the hunt is just begining !

For the last 20 something years I have started looking around Valintines day, while I have started sooner I have never had any real good days with more than 1 find before that. __________________ The biggest thing I have learned of late is that many legislators will side with us if we patently and intelegently explain to them where we are coming from and where we are going.

| Found my first shed of the year today, and totally by accident! Putting out corn in my area and almost tripped over one. A small forkforn, right side. Not this year's though. Pretty chewed up and older looking. I think it's been laying there for a couple of years. | ||

bowhunter444-
I've seen articles on dogs finding sheds in North American Whitetail. Do you have a lot of success that way? How many do you normally find? I've heard that Hartshorne woods has some nice bucks down that way also. |
