Don't forget to check the small strip of woods between the RR tracks and the road. see deer in there all the time.

I guess that there are some serious bucks in those parks.  How do they survive the orange army?

Ken, have you seen that tree stand up behind the one house on Allaire road across from the check in building? Must be nice to be able to sit in that spot. I also found bright eyes going back into Allaire of of West 18th ave. They go right past the Allaire State Park boundry signs

Yeah people have snuck in there for years. This year the caught a guy hunting the county garage side of hospital rd. I heard they went to his house and confiscated racks and mounts seems he'd been doing it for years

I saw a monster on that side in August. One of the biggest I have ever seen. I posted about it in August maybe that drove him to go back.

I've seen some monsters in that whole area before. In that train field at Allaire State park and also on the lawn of that elderly person place on Hospital Rd. I would love to take a walk next to that elderly place right there and look for sheds. I think that's a campground right there.

Walked the Mills for five hours today looking for sheds, and didn't find a thing. I think bowhunter444 found them all.

I was out today...found about 8 sets of bones...one was from this year.  Found a skull with horns from a 3 point and another from a young spike, the rest were does.  Found a small skull, maybe a fox.

No sheds for me...again.

I suck at shed hunting...but seem to find everything else from a deer.

i have spent countless hours this past season looking and i found more skulls and a few sheds during the season then after. skunked so far hopeing this next week will yeild some kind of bone    i found a bone i thought was mabe half a spike horn but it was just a chewed up leg bone or something   it was hollow.  but have found countless dead does in the same area i was finding all the dead bucks earlyer this season.

Ken, Congrats nice set.  your a shed magnet  it's unusual that the older ones don't have squirrel damage.

bowhunter444 do you set up those traps...with the rebar and put corn in it...

and I thought I was doing alright at 5 sheds for the year...

Yeah I setup rebar traps but I pulled them all because there are a lot of guys out scouting for turkey. I'm now just walking the woods and finding them but I also have been looking in the same spots now for 25 years and know where to look to find sheds.

Some of the bucks on my properties didn't lose their bone until the second week of April this year.  I have found 3 sheds so far this year.  One is a non typical but it is a very young deer.
