| I am a Zone 14 (mostly) hunter. Bow and Gun wherever possible. Saw some nice bucks bucks mostly in Bow season. Is anyone having any luck in the late seasons? I am not seeing too much now. I guess whatever deer are there are pretty educated this late in the season. Even on my trail cams I am not seeing many bucks, mostly does even at night. | ||

Welcome...I haven't been Deer hunting since 6 day.
My freezer is full. P.S. A username like that, on this site is almost as bad as a name like. 'Wounder'...'LeadFlinger'...'The Great Maimer'...Or worst yet....'CrossBow'...

| Welcome to the site. I hunt and live in 14. Have some bucks on the cam at night. The deer are in the neighborhoods. Drives are the name of the game now unless you have a undisturbed honeyhole. We use slow, quitet 2 man push drives. Going out in 10 minutes. | ||

It's just a nickname, really. I probably bowhunt 95% of my hunting and when I do shotgun I use slugs. I don't think I have actually used buckshot since I was a kid. Thanks to everyone for the welcome. I have looked around the site and there are some pretty cool stories, pics. etc. It's a neat way to see what everyone else is doing. Thanks again ! |

| Well I just went and checked one of my cameras and sure enuff, I got 50 pics in the last 3 days. All doe and 1 spike buck that is so small you can barely see his "rack". Big boys are hiding out it seems. | ||

| I got out yesterday afternoon in 14 and had 2 does within 15 yards for about 20 minutes right before dark. Holding out for a late buck, may never happen. Oh well, next year is another season !!! Anybody else seeing or getting anything? | ||

| I am gonna try to get out after work today. With this cold weather, I am hoping to see some movement out there. Coming down to the wire, it would be great to see a nice buck out there this late. | ||

| Checked my cornpile camera yesterday and had 233 photos in 2 1/2 days!! Cold weather had them hungry I guess. The amazing thing is that I still had no bucks on the pics. Plenty of does, sometimes 6 or 7 at a time and the same 2 raccoons I get everytime! | ||
