I fixed a old permanent stand that I baited it for weeks and hunted for muzzleloader and hunted it .I go out after jan 1st to hunt it and there is a bait pile in a differant spot. So I took my new wood back off the stand and left.This is the second time in 2 years that this happened.Within 50 yards I baited a spot for monthes during bow season and went to bait it one day and there was a portable in the same tree I use. __________________       |

In the area where I hunted in zone 26 when I was able-bodied is now overflowing with hunters.
I wouldn't even attempt to try there now. __________________ My handle is not my aim. I'm a C 4-5 Quadriplegic who uses a converted crossbow.

Dave where at in 26 ? I used to hunt that area when I lived in EHT. I do not miss that zone one bit. Way to many hunters come gun season.
My aunt bought a farm market and let me hunt it. I was so happy cuase when bow opened up we did not see a single person. Well a week before shotgun we lost 3 stands. I seen a guy walking to his stand one afternoon and he went right under the tree one of the stands were in. When I got out of my stand I waited for him to come out. I talked to him for a bit then came out and asked him if he took it. He got right on his nextel and called his son to meet him. Flat out said some one is asking me if I stole " THOSE STAND " Now I only asked him about one. That told me they did it. Don __________________ |

His son showed up and they both just sat there saying they would not do something like that. A couple words were thrown around between us and that was it.
It was my fault in a way I did not have them locked. We did lock them after that. My uncle ran in to him last day of 6 day. The guy started going off on my uncle saying we ruined his spot and we did not know what we were doing. We both shot good bucks that week. We also ran in to a couple guys that were cutting trees for Mazza wood back there. We talked to them for a bit since they are in the woods all the time we thought they could tell us if they seen anything good back there. They told us they had a run in with the older guy as well. The one guy said that guy is a real jerk someone should burry that guy so deep the worms wouldn't find him  __________________ |
