Are you allowed to possess them?Legally? I found the only 4 sheds + 1 broken of rack + 3 dead racks I ever found  walking around.

By law, you cant even keep them. Try to find some good bedding areas where there is a good concentration of bucks. Also trails going to and from winter feeding areas. (in the food plots if you have some available to you).

Try the parks that do not allow hunting. I've seen the best luck on the east side of wma within 100 yards of house. Alot of hold out buck sthat ppl. can't hunt. Good luck.

Spread a 4' X 4' net of fishing line about 3 feet of the ground and throw some apples/corn under it.

A good "shed trap" is rebar hammered into the ground in the shape of a W so that 2' sticks up.  Put corn or some other deer feed out in the W... when the bucks feed on the corn they gently bang their antlers on the rebar and they often fall off really close to the site.

Alot of time.I usually spend 2 weeks looking. The last of Feb. first of March. Food sources are the best. I have not had alot of success on the bedding areas for some reason. Found some but not as many as on the food.

I've had limited success, but a lot of fun over the years hiking the woods from late February to early April.  Spent some quality time on Saturday afternoons with a cigar in hand walking thru some interesting sections of woods.

It used to be illegal to keep sheds.  The law has changed to make it perfectly legal to keep shed your find while shed hunting.

Good Luck
