All the locals here are afraid of the cold weather up north. I visit pequest, hacklebarney, black river, muscetetcong, allamuchy, voorhees, Ken Lockwood gorge, South Raritan branch. Heading up 1-30 2-2 and possibly 2-8

used to live on a 400 acre farm in zone 8. deer out the wazoo. moved to the pine barrens 22 years ago lot more woods with a lot less deer and I only hunt public land down here. how is the hunting on public land in 8, is it worth a trip from southern ocean county?__________________ "The outdoors was a school that all native sons attanded" Merce Ridgway
