liv2hunt and my self are planning a day in the blind trying to get a deer on video on 1/19 wish us luck. we really want a double header with the bows. it should be a good time to fat guys in a pop up.. __________________ Hunting....Its All About The Gear!!!!!

well went out this morning liv2hunt fell ill so i was on my own. at quarter to 7 heard snow crunching down the hill behind the blind. slowly it got louder and louder i readied my bow. a large doe popped up 10 feet from the blind. never acknowleded the blind being there. she milled arounf for about 3 minutes and presented me with a hard quartering away shot at 21 yards. i aimed for behind the opposite shoulder and let the arrow fly with the 2 blade rage at the helm. solid hit a little farther back then intended. i waited 40 minutes before emerging from the blind. blood was lite but staedy. i tracked for about a hundred yds. her head was still up but she was fading. i knocked a second arrow ranged 34 yds and put her down.all in all an exciting hunt. have not hunted for about a month. it felt good to get the blood pumping. i staegically gutted her for a little monday fox coyote hunt. if i dont have to work. here are the pics. it would have been great on video but the camera man was sick.

heading to the blind again in morning 1-21. hope the activity is up i drove around in buddlake today and the deer were in all the yards i counted over a dozen around 430pm im hoping they are moving in zone 6 in the morning __________________ Hunting....Its All About The Gear!!!!!

well was out with my buddy mike tracks all over. he was in a tree from dark till 11am god bless him. i was in my blind with the buddu heater on. he saw 2 dandy buck at 720am one was a mounter for sure 1 8pt and 1 6 point. will be trying again wednesday __________________ Hunting....Its All About The Gear!!!!!
