I just started shooting a black ice and i just absolutely love it.  I cant wait to hit the woods with it...I shoot it almost every day and it's a smooth, quiet comfortable bow

Bowtech has definitely  got their sh*t together. Lots of cutting edge equipment coming out of that company.

Bowtech all the way. I have owned them all without exaggeration. Its literally a local joke on how many bows I have owned. Hoyts are great bows also so do yourself a favor and shoot every one either company makes.

Be careful with the Ross bows they financially fell apart and who knows about warranty work. Bowtech bought them out. G5 is using the unpaid for parts to build their own bows.

Just picked up my Bowtech General from the Sportsmen Center. I actually got the Max 4 camo pattern on it. It was quite funny though. There were a few Mathews shooters in there and they said it sounded quieter then their bow. They asked about it and a few guys in there said the General is probably the nicest bow out right now...wonder if any of those Mathews guys walked out with a Bowtech that night?

Martin Archery-  the Bengal is a super sweet shooting bow and fully loaded is less than half of a hoyt, bowtech or matthews.

Shoot what you nwant. They are all great pieces of equipment. Most guys arent good enough to see the difference between a $300 bow and a $1000 bow anyway.

Ross was purchased by Savage arms (which I believe owns Bowtech as well), the unpaid parts were put together by G5 to make the Quest bows which seem to be great bows.  There is no warranty on the old Ross bows but the new company will give a good discount to set up a new one if an old model fails.

As far as bowtech, I always liked them until all the recent problems they have been having with limbs blowing up.  especially on the new generals.  I think their riser design with the fork coming into the limb is over stressing the limbs.  If you check over on Archery Talk you will see over a dozen threads in the last week or two about new bowtechs blowing up.
