I hunted sun up til sundown yesterday. At 505pm I had a deer come behind the stand. It was 40 yds out. By the time I could get the gun up and on the deer it had moved off another 10yds and was behind some low lying leafless shrubs. I was shooting 00 Buck out of an IC Choke and decided the shot was a disaster waiting to happen, so I passed. Glad I did even more so because 10 mins later, I heard a shot from my dads stand. I wait 10 more mins and went to get the wheelbarrow. My faith was justified. This deer was a little bigger than the last. Deer number two. Its starting to look like I'll be shut out, but I dont care! So happy my dad is getting some ROI!
