slow, been out a couple days, hunt mostly double trouble, slow season for me, first year in 8 years I have not got a deer in 21. lots of nocternal deer on my camera, had a lot of day time bucks on my camera during fall and extended bow but due to work(mandatory saturdays in sep., oct. and early nov.) and obligations(wedding in vermont & birthday party in nyc on opening day of fall bow). missed a lot of sats. this year. didn't hear very many shots during shotgun & muzzy. theres deer around but gonna have to hunt real hard.

it was a blue bird day.not a deer to be found. nothing but 4 wheel clubs hot rodding around.  should have seen it coming being it was so nice. i cant wait to see some real cold weather. the deer will be moving more during the day.

went out on saturday had 4 come in no shots. also went out monday and had a nice 3 (use to be 6 point) come in minus the other rack. also got busted by 2 does right at dusk.full moon and dead quiet with no breeze. they are not herded up like they should but with the cold weather im thinking i will sit one more afternoon and then call it a season. i just love sitting out when its 18 degrees.a slightly better season than last year as far as seeing deer but zone 21 isint what it was 3 or 4 years ago. supposedly the state was given money to better the use of the game lands. maybe they will plant next year.
