To whomever stole the trailcam on private land off Hartford Road in Medford, were there any good pictures on it? Feel free to etch your name and phone # over top of mine.
Also, thanks for dropping litter all over the place during the 6-day season.
Thanks

Posted:  10 Jan 2008 4:22 PM
i'll find out for sure sooner or later...

I am unable to put a camera in certain spots because of this crap!

I also had a ladder stand stolen and they cut the cable that supposely cannot be cut with bolt cutters.

Any solutions???

Sorry to hear about that! It really sucks to think their are guys out there that do this stuff all the time with no consequence. I know of three other cameras stolen in the Medford area in the last three weeks. My buddy who had one stolen last week just finished welding a lock box out of 1/4" steel!

I wish you could have an option when installing Lowjack.  Either use it as a tracking device to recover your property....OR....configured with a special encrypted code where all you have to do is enter in your code and a password and the device will explode!

i only screw with my buddie's equip...sometimes ill moon his cam or lower his stand a few feet (he never notices in the dark) swith his steps from one side of the tree to the other...ive even gone as far as to go in at night and put my deer decoy just out of his bow range so when it starts getting light he gets all jittery

Don't they have little low jacks for lap top computers?  Perhaps these can be put into home brew or production cams.  Even if you have one among friends that you set up as bait after a theft. I would love to see someone explain why they are a sneak thief.  Some of us would be surprised who we know that think it is perfectly ok to take a stand or camera.

Sorry about your loss.
Where I hunt on State land,
There are 2 brand new climbers 2 lock-ons, a feeder on a timer and a ladder stand within 250 yds . All my favorite trees are taken, I check on these spots from time to time. I can't believe these stands are still there as I'm not the only one who knows about them, there is never anyone hunting them, and 1 stand wasn't hunted in for more than 6 weeks.
